หลักสูตรปริญญาตรีของมหาวิทยาลัย Aston โดยส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นหลักสูตรที่เรียกกันว่า Sandwich Course ซึ่งจะประกอบไปด้วยการเรียนการสอนปกติเป็นเวลา 2-3 ปี และการฝึกงานที่ได้รับค่าจ้าง หรือการเป็นนักเรียนแลกเปลี่ยนไปยังสถาบันอื่นๆ ทั่วโลก เป็นเวลาอีก 1 ปี หนังสือพิมพ์ The Times ได้กล่าวไว้ว่า “นักศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัย Aston 9 ใน 10 คน ซึ่งเป็นจำนวนที่มากกว่าค่าเฉลี่ยของทั้งประเทศ จะได้รับการจ้างงานหลังจากเรียนจบ ซึ่งโดยส่วนใหญ่แล้ว จะได้กลับไปทำงานยังสถานที่ที่พวกเค้าเคยฝึกงานในระหว่างเรียน”
