หลักสูตรเตรียมความพร้อมที่ออกแบบโดยมหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อเข้าเรียนโทต่างประเทศ

หลักสูตร NCUK Pre-sessional English ในไทย คือ หลักสูตรการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษที่เปิดสอนสำหรับนักเรียนต่างชาติที่ได้รับการตอบรับเข้าเรียนในระดับปริญญาโท และปริญญาเอก แต่ติดเงื่อนไข (Conditional offer) ผลคะแนนภาษาอังกฤษ หรือผลสอบ IELTS ที่ยังไม่ถึงเกณฑ์ตามที่มหาวิทยาลัยกำหนด

ซึ่งหลักสูตรนี้ออกแบบมาโดยเฉพาะเพื่อนักศึกษาต่างชาติที่ต้องการไปศึกษาต่อในต่างประเทศ โดยผู้เรียนจะได้เรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิชาการ (English For Academic Purpose) เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะภาษาอังกฤษทั้ง 4 ทักษะ คือ ฟัง พูด อ่าน เขียน ในเชิงวิชาการที่จำเป็นต่อการเรียนต่อ และวิชา Research Methods

ซึ่งผู้เรียนจะได้เรียนรู้วิธีการวิจัยทั้งในเชิงคุณภาพและเชิงปริมาณ, เรียนรู้วิธีการสืบค้นและประเมินข้อมูลจากแหล่งข้อมูลต่างๆ รวมถึงเรียนรู้วิธีการวางแผนโครงการ,การวิเคราะห์และจัดการข้อมูล หลังจากจบหลักสูตรผู้เรียนจะมีความมั่นใจทั้งด้านภาษาอังกฤษและความรู้ทางวิชาการ และพร้อมสำหรับการไปเรียนต่อยังต่างประเทศ
