English Language Requirements
If English is not your first language you will need to be able to show you have the required level of English language. The course requirements with IELTS or BACIET overall score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 or higher in each component (reading, writing, listening and speaking).
- Students who graduated from an International Programme within the last 2-5 years do not need to submit an English proficiency test (IELTS waiver). Please check with the Joint Programmes Officer for the list of universities that offer the IELTS waiver.
- Students who do not yet have an English proficiency test score (IELTS score) can register for an English test directly with the program (see details for BACIET English test registration).
- The required English proficiency level depends on the university chosen.
- If a student has an IELTS or BACIET overall score of 5.5, with no skill below 5.0, they can enroll in the Joint Pre-sessional English Programme. This program is designed to enhance Academic English for postgraduate studies and can be taken as a substitute for IELTS/BACIET. The Joint Pre-sessional English Programme can be taken either before the start of the Joint Master Programmes or concurrently with the start of the Joint Master Programmes (60-100 hours of study, tuition fee: 69,500 THB, group classes).
